Contractual Insurance Requirements for Vendors
The following will reflect the minimum limits normally required in standard vendor contracts. These limits should be reviewed for any significant construction projects or any unusual contracts.
Commercial General Liability:
- $1,000,000 each occurrence
- $1,000,000 each occurrence Personal and Advertising Injury
- $2,000,000 general aggregate with dedicated limits per project site for construction
- $2,000,000 products and completed operations aggregate
Auto Liability:
- $1,000,000 per occurrence
Workers’ Compensation:
- Statutory Benefits
Employer’s Liability:
- $100,000 bodily injury for each accident
- $100,000 each employee for disease
- $500,000 disease aggregate
Professional Liability/Errors and Omission:
- $1,000,000 per claim/aggregate
Pollution Liability (where project involves potential for environmental damage):
- $1,000,000 per claim/aggregate
